Careers

We are a small team on a big table, and we like it that way. We cherish being small, which means we grow carefully, take our time finding the right people, and believe that the right addition to our team is about much more than a CV. At the moment, we are not actively hiring for any position. However, if you believe in thoughtful architecture, creative thinking, responsible design, and the joy of working as part of a small team, we would still love for you to keep an eye on this space or feel free to write us at careers@apdl.co

Our studio is situated in Ranchi, and not in a metro city. This was a deliberate choice — a belief that growing cities deserve good design and that there is much to contribute, learn, and explore outside the usual centres of architecture.

We care about our surroundings, our city, and the environment we work within. So when the time comes for us to welcome someone new, we will be looking for a person who shares that sense of care, along with curiosity, passion, and a willingness to learn.

What matters to us

  • Passion for architecture and design

  • A creative and curious mind

  • A willingness to learn and unlearn

  • Good software skills

  • An ability to think, question, and contribute

  • Care for people, places, and the environment

A little note: We are a small team and do not have an HR department. We also hire directly and announce our openings through our own official channels. If you come across an opening claiming to be from our studio on a third-party website, please do not assume that it is current or authorised by us. Our website and official communication channels are the only reliable source for our hiring announcements.

We believe that good people and good opportunities sometimes find each other at the right time. So, if we are not hiring today, please don't take it as a closed door. Keep exploring, keep making, keep learning, and keep your motivation for architecture and design alive. When the time is right and we are ready to take the next step, we will share it here.

Until then — keep creating !
